Digital Literacy & Creative Technology Canada collects only the information reasonably needed to answer inquiries, understand program interest and communicate about relevant opportunities.

Information you choose to provide

The interest form may ask for a participant name, parent or guardian name when applicable, email address, phone number, age group, preferred contact method and program interests.

How the information is used

DLCT may use this information to respond to your message, follow up about suitable programs or events, and support appropriate communication with families, educators or community partners.

Children and youth

For participants under 18, a parent or guardian should provide or approve the contact information. DLCT does not ask children to submit sensitive personal information through the website.

Sharing and safeguarding

DLCT does not sell personal information. Access should be limited to people who need it to respond or administer the relevant program. Reasonable safeguards are used to protect information from unauthorized access, loss or misuse.

Retention and your choices

Information should be kept only as long as needed for the stated purpose. You may ask DLCT to correct or delete information you previously submitted, or ask not to receive future program updates.
